About the position

You will enter an exciting phase of intranet development within the Swedish Customs. The goal is a more operational intranet that strengthens focus and unity around the Swedish Customs' mission and goals, meets the different needs of managers and employees, and encourages all of us to be active co-creators in internal communication and the development of the organization.

Your work will focus on creating a new content structure for the intranet – a task we are currently in the midst of. We have new page templates that will provide better opportunities to package and visualize content on the intranet, while we are also working to finalize and implement the new structure. Other prioritized areas include continued work on the intranet's search function, developing the internal communication system, and training new page editors within the organization. We are now looking for someone who wants to join us on the journey towards a better intranet.

You will work closely with colleagues who currently manage and drive the development and maintenance of the intranet, as well as with many other colleagues, groups, and functions in various parts of the organization. You will be part of a development team that works agilely with requirements specification, prioritization, development, and testing of functionality for the Swedish Customs' websites and will also have contact with the Swedish Customs' UX team.

Your main tasks will include:

• participating in the ongoing management of the Swedish Customs' intranet
• focusing on creating a new and operationally relevant content structure for the intranet
• being part of a development team where you will work with requirements specification and testing according to agile methods.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university or college degree in communication or another relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent
• at least three years of experience working with intranets in a larger organization
• very good knowledge of web publishing
• experience working in Sitevision in the last three years
• experience in specifying functionality in digital channels
• experience in search engine optimization
• knowledge of digital accessibility and the ability to follow web accessibility guidelines according to WCAG 2.0 AA
• experience working with web analytics and web statistics as well as needs and user analyses
• very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing
• very good knowledge of the Office suite.

It is meritorious if you have:

• knowledge or education in the UX field
• experience of agile work in development teams
• experience in testing in digital channels
• experience in development work according to service design methodology
• experience working in a government authority.
